Valeria Nibiru
Valeria Nibiru was born 1981 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. She was graduated from Saint-Petersburg University of Cinema and Television as the graphic artist working over the animation films.
Valeria Nibiru worked in the fi eld of video and photography. She took part in the musical projects as a violinist since 1999 also (groups ZGA, Babsley, Re’sequence, kmnt). She was one of the founders of the Young Designers Festival “Open Defence” (St-Petersburg, Art & Apply Arts Academy, 2006-2008). Since 2009 she is working mainly with graphic art and producing art objects and installations with drawings
incorporated.
Valeria Nibiru is an artist of “Iragui” gallery (Moscow), her art is represented at the galleries “ReginaBerloga” (Moscow), Marina Gisich and Anna Nova (St-Petersburg), “ArtMost” (London). She took part in the Art Moscow Fair (2010, 2011), Salon du dessin contemporain in Paris (2011), Art-Forum Berlin (2010), Arco (Madrid, 2010).
Valeria Nibiru was nominated for the Kandinsky Prize twice (2008, 2010).
The album “Windless” and several drawings were purchased by the Foundation “Collection Florence & Daniel Guerlain” and Centre George Pompidou, Paris.
